When Will Our GB Judoka Be Fighting In Tokyo?
With the judo competition just days away here in Tokyo and the draw completed, we can now provide approximate timings for when you catch your favourite GB athletes competing at the Paralympics.
With most events scheduled for between midnight UK time and about 3:00pm, the preliminary round action is due to get underway at 10:30am (JPN time) which is 2:30am UK time so set those alarms clock early! In a slight change to reported timings, Final Block will then take place at 16:00 (JPN) (8:00am UK) on 27th & 28th August and 16:30 (JPN) (8:30am UK) on 29th August.
The bulk of the broadcasting for the Games in the UK will be by Channel 4 as well as their dedicated Channel 4 website, with over 1,000 hours of coverage on 16 live streams at https://paralympics.channel4.com/
Due to the many variations of contest times in the Final Block, we will update our social media channels with contest times throughout the day so we don’t cause any confusion!
Please note that these are just estimated times due to the nature of the sport and contest lengths in the proceeding fights.
