During the many months of lockdown in 2020, the International Judo Federation (IJF) hosted a JudoFit Kids Golden League – a competition designed to keep kids across the world fit and engaged with our sport. We are delighted to announce that two young British Judo members have finished in the top 17!

With over 5,400 contributions from 51 countries, Paisley Savage from Goole Judo Club and Quintin-Reid Andrew-Fuller from Burnley Judo Club battled their way through numerous challenges set by leading names from the judo world.

Most of the challenges were physical exercises, but also an original ‘Climate Change’ challenge, with the two IJF Climate Ambassadors, Sabrina Filzmoser (AUT) and Flavio Canto (BRA). With challenges ranging from running on the spot to sliding rock climbers and jumping squats, Paisley and Quintin-Reid battled off competition all over the world to land some excellent prizes.

All winners were chosen to win the IJF‘s “Judo for the World” book and a soft toy version of the IJF Lion Mascot.

Congratulations to both Paisley and Quintin-Reid.
