Open Randori Session Friday 16 August in York

Recommended minimum age and grade 13 years and green belt. Open to all players Juniors, Youth, Seniors, Women and Men, Masters. Judo SAQ

Revalidation Course Saturday 17 August in York The BJA is offering ‘Judo Speed, Agility and Quickness’ (JSAQ) and ‘Judo Agility’ course for coaches. These modules will cover Judo Agility activities and processes develop young judo players with smooth, quick and coordinated movements, enabling them to potentially perform more efficiently technically and competitively from grassroots through to future elite level.

Technical Dan Grade Assessment Day Sunday 22 September at Southlands Judo Club

During the day, candidates will be tutored on the Competitive and Technical Dan grade syllabus sections one to six and will be continually assessed in order to complete the promotion requirements. Judo Fit Course Saturday 26th October 2013 in Gateshead JudoFit is one of the first modules attached to our ‘Judo Fitness Award’ which is in the process of being developed. The aim of ‘JudoFit’ is to perform judo movement to music. This can be in the form of shadow uchi-komi, nage-komi or circuit, which can be adapted to suit both the beginner and advanced judo player. It is an extremely flexible product that can take place on a judo mat or in a gym hall (with no mats), and is ideal for all ages and genders.
