Following November’s successful 10th Anniversary British Judo Awards Dinner, we are proud to announce that the silent auction raised a record total!

Smashing the previous year’s total by over £1,300.00, the final amount raised was an astonishing £1,736.00!

Over 302 people were in attendance on the evening and this was reflected during the auction which saw items such as a Frankie Dettori Signed Presentation Frame raise £400.00 along with other items including a David Beckham Signed Shirt, an Anthony Joshua Signed Glove, 2 x tickets for Ladies Day at Epsom Races and a Wayne Rooney Signed Boot all go under the hammer.

All money raised from the evening will be donated to the British Judo Trust. The Trust, founded in 2007, is a registered charity that focuses on providing grants to young people to assist them in attaining their full potential at all levels of judo. Often these young people come from family backgrounds with limited resources and the Trust is able to play a pivotal role in the development of these young people.

On behalf of everyone at British Judo, we would like to thank everyone in attendance on the evening and for everyone who bid on the items! To find out more about the British Judo Trust, please visit http://britishjudotrust.org.uk/
