Open randori with GB Judo stars before the World Championships

A rare opportunity has arisen for judoka across the country to join in open randori sessions with Sally Conway, Gemma Gibbons, Natalie Powell and Ashley McKenzie who will be competing for Great Britain at the 2013 Senior World Championships between 26 and 31 August in Rio.

British Judo will be based at Walsall University for a final preparation camp between Monday 5 and Sunday 11 August and British Judo would like to invite all GB players and high quality judoka visitors to attend the sessions to help them prepare for the World Championships.

Open randori sessions take place on Monday 5th August from 5pm and Thursday 8th and Friday 9th August from 7pm. And due to their popularity, organisers have now announced randori will be available all day Saturday 10 August.

This will be a great opportunity for players from all over the country, including the Midlands area, to train with the countries best and help them prepare for the Rio Worlds. Minimum grade is 1st Kyu or equivalent and is open to female -48kg judoka and above and male -55kg judoka and above.
