The British Judo Association has put together a Q&A guide to ensure all our members know how to watch Team GB compete at the London 2012 Olympic Games. 

Who is the official Olympic Games broadcaster?

The BBC is the official Olympic Games broadcaster and will deliver around 2,500 hours of live sport coverage through the various BBC platforms during the Games.

Which sports will the BBC show?

The BBC will show every sport from every venue. The official Olympic Games broadcaster will make its twenty-four, HD-quality, live Olympic streams available to cable and satellite providers, on a non-exclusive basis, for the duration of the Olympic Games. If you want to spend all day watching judo you’ll be able to.

Can I watch the judo online?

All 24 streams, including judo, will be available to watch live on the BBC Sport website. This service will complement the BBC’s flagship channels, BBC One and BBC Three, which will air all of the key moments from the Olympics, as well as other platforms including Radio 5 live.

Will I be able to watch on my tablet or phone?

You’ll be able to access the BBC Sport website streams and watch all the action live.

Who will be commentating on the judo?

Nick Mullins and Nicola Fairbrother.

Will there be radio coverage?

If GB judoka progress to the quarter-final stage there is a possibility that BBC Radio 5 Live will commentate on the contests.

If I’m unable to watch but want to keep up with live results where should I go?

The IJF will have live results and have a dedicated Olympic page at http://london.ijf.org/ British Judo will also be providing live updates on twitter and facebook.
