Nominations now open for 2016 British Judo Awards
Over 5000 people across Great Britain help make British Judo what it is, whether by volunteering their time to run competitions or supporting our clubs and area committees. Without them British Judo would not exist and our members would not be able to participate in the sport we all love.
In 2006, British Judo introduced a volunteer award scheme which aimed to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of our volunteers and shine a spotlight on just a few of those incredible individuals.
Since the scheme’s inception 10 years ago, we have celebrated the achievements of over 250 volunteers. As we progress through 2016, it is now time for you to nominate the next set of deserving individuals.
Our online nomination form gives you the opportunity to say ‘Thanks – you do a great job and we appreciate you’, to those people that make a difference.
When submitting your nomination you will need to provide your name and email address, the name of the person you are nominating and the name of their club (if possible).
You will be given the opportunity to select the category you feel they best fit into and will be asked to give the reason for your nomination in less than 100 words, remember whatever you say will be passed directly to the person you are thanking so send them a message rather than a CV of their achievements.
To submit your nominations go to: www.britishjudo.org.uk/nominate2016
Nominations close at midnight on 30th June 2016 so get nominating now!
