British Judo’s brand new website launched today and is your destination to find out what’s going on in the association and the world of judo, as well as giving you exclusive content to improve your judo experience both on and off the mat and will be your judo guide to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

New website features include an all-new club find search tool which allows users to find their nearest clubs by post code, interactive athlete profiles, more powerful event calendars, competition videos, an Olympic portal, event photo galleries, tagged content shared throughout the site and integrated social media.

By the end of the summer, the site will deliver fully personalised content so you can get all the news, competitions and events that matter to you, directly to your homepage or dashboard.

An all-new British Judo member forum will also launch along with exclusive membership offers, the ability to view back issues of Matside magazine, HD video guides to the British Judo syllabus and you’ll be able to manage your membership online.

British Judo Communications Manager, Chris Wiseman said: “I’m delighted to be launching the new site and hope that it becomes an invaluable resource for our members, clubs and the wider sport of judo. There’s a real shift in focus on the site and we’re committed to delivering content which will be enjoyed by our members and also be used to educate the wider public about the sport of judo.

“I’m particularly excitied about the new club find feature, which provides an easy route for visitors to find judo in their local area and also provide much greater visibility for our clubs.

“This is only the start – late summer will see some great new features launched including our member dashboard, where members will get personalised content, full HD videos of the BJA syllabus and much more.”
