Step 1Take hold of Uke’s inner thigh, keeping your back straight, pull Uke’s sleeve. |
Step 2Lift using your legs to hoist Uke on top of your own shoulders. |
Step 3Drop one shoulder to tip Uke off to one side. Lift Uke’s leg with your arm. |
Step 4Keep hold of Uke’s sleeve for support and control as they land. |
Ko-Uchi-Gake-Maki-Komi
Step 1Turn in for Ippon-Seio-Nage. |
Step 2As Uke resists, hook your leg around Uke’s leg. |
Step 3Holding on to their arm drive Uke backwards towards the mat. |
Step 4Maintain holding with your arms to complete the technique. |
San-Gaku-Jime
Step 1Hook your left leg over Uke’s arm and with your other leg place your thigh under Uke’s head. |
Step 2Place your left leg behind your right knee, whilst holding on to Uke’s arm. |
Step 3Moving to your right side, apply pressure with your legs onto the arm pinned to his neck. |
Sode-Tsuri-Komi-Goshi
Step 1Holding both of Uke’s sleeves, pull onto their toes. |
Step 2Keeping your knees bent and head rotated, pull Uke over your hips. |
Step 3Continue to rotate, pulling on the sleeves to complete the throw. |
