Judo Festival to take place in Poreč, Croatia in June 2016

The European Judo Union alongside the Croatian Judo Federation, are organising the Judo Festival Poreč 2016 in the beautiful seaside city of Poreč, Croatia.

The festival is billed as a ten day unforgettable holiday – this festival offers a diversified programme for all age groups.

The highlight of the festival is the Veteran European Judo Championships (23 – 26 June). It is also an opportunity for judo friends to meet and enjoy judo in a fantastic mediterran surrounding. After the continental championships, all veterans are invited to join the Veteran Training Camp (27-30 June).

The festival is designed for families. In the Judo Kids Camp for under 8s and families named ‘Judo & Family’, children and parents will be together on the tatami enjoying the activities set by skilled coaches.

For teens there will be the Youth Judo Training Camp for under 15s. They can enjoy twice-daily training sessions under the leadership of well-known experts.

The ‘Judo Animation Zone’ offers daily educational activities on the tatami located on the Laguna Poreč beach, where young judoka will be able to receive lessons from famous judo champions. This amazing judo holiday will be concluded by our European judo hereos. The OTC – “Going for Gold” is the Olympic training camp, where the judoka from accross the world will prepare for the Olympic Games in Rio. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the judo heroes in a relaxed atmosphere.
