IJF Anti-Doping webinars in the New Olympic Qualification Cycle
With the launch of the new Olympic qualification cycle, the International Judo Federation is offering valuable information on the current rules of doping control, medications and supplements, and therapeutic use exemptions, along with the principles of clean sport and guidelines to show how everyone can contribute to clean judo.
Knowing and applying the anti-doping rules is as essential as knowing and following the judo rules and so it is the IJF’s top priority to make all necessary information available for the judo family.
As part of the IJF’s educational development plan, in the future, every active judoka, coach or team official will be required to complete an anti-doping educational course in order to attend IJF World Judo Tour events. This regulation will come into play for the 2023 World Championships, in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Updates regarding accepted certificates, courses and educational material will be published later this year.
