Government Update: Looking Towards 29th March

Monday will see England move to Step One (B) of the Government Guidelines and as part of these progressions, it will mark some exciting milestones for members of English clubs.

Members of English clubs will now start to be able to train outdoors, with U18s now permitted to begin contact training drills outside!

We have updated our “Return To Play” Roadmap to reflect the latest advice.

We are currently awaiting final sign off of our paperwork from the DCMS which we are expecting next week, at which point, we will be able to release detailed guidance to members and clubs and how they can prepare.

We will shortly be launching a further range of webinars for clubs which will provide opportunities for you to ask questions and raise any concerns that you may have ahead of a potential return to the sport.

Please note that this advice is for the British Judo Association and affiliates in England only. Non-affiliated organisations cannot practice under these rules.

Just remember, if you are planning to attend any organised outdoor training activities with a British Judo club, you MUST have a valid British Judo membership to ensure that you are insured against any injuries.
