GB Judo is pleased to announce the 14 judoka selected to compete at the European Cadet Championships from 27^th – 30^th June in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Eva Ewing (Whitburn) and Sara Coni (Camberley) will compete in the -44kg category. Ewing has been in fine form in 2024 having won silver at the Follonica and Berlin Cadet European Cups and bronze at the Fuengirola Cadet European Cup. Coni meanwhile finished 5^th at the Follonica Cadet European Cup and 7^th at the Porec Cadet European Cup.

Taylor Chrisp (Blyth Juno Michi) has been selected to compete in the -48kg category whilst Kate Chisolm (Judo Sensi London) has been selected for the -52kg category.

Zhaklin Satari (Rush Judo) will compete in the -57kg category whilst Tara Nel Allan (Craven Judo Academy) completes the girls team, competing in the -70kg category.

In the -50kg category, Evan Anderson (Blyth Judo Michi) is joined by Coen Gilbert (Sportif). Anderson has recorded 7^thplace finishes at the Follonica and Porec Cadet European Cups this year.

Luka Gigilashvili (Palvani) has been selected for his second European Cadet Championships and will be joined in the -66kg category by Thomas Deniz (Pudsey).

Jack Macleod (Garioch) recorded a 7^th place finish on his European debut in Fuengirola and will compete in the -73kg category alongside Lenny Tancock (Bishops Stortford).

George Riley (High Wycombe Judo Centre) secured his selection by winning bronze at the Porec Cadet European Cup in March, and will be joined in the -90kg category by Kevin Gordon (Hibari Kan) who has recorded 7^th place finishes at the Follonica and Fuengirola Cadet European Cups.
