2016 Kata European Championsh

Ricky and Robert Cleevely (St Albans Judo Club) will be representing Great Britain at the 2016 Kata European Championships in Olbia, Italy 21-22 May.

The Cleevelys will be competing in the Kime-no-kata kg category on Saturday and will be looking to improve upon their results from the European championships last year where they finished outside the medals in 425 points.

La Coruna Junior European Cup

21 junior British judoka are stepping on the mat this weekend over at the La Coruna Junior European Cup on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May.

England, Scotland and Wales are all represented this weekend with a number of the judoka having competed in Junior European Cups already this year with Oscar Di Domenico (-81kg), Rhys Thompson (-100kg) and Wesley Greenidge (+100kg) all having medalled at the Coimbra Junior European Cup in March.

The draw will be made on Friday evening with the final draw going on ippon.org. The competition will also be live streamed from 0900 GMT on both days via eju.net and https://www.youtube.com/user/rfejudo/videos with end of competition medal updates on Twitter via @BritishJudo
