Entry now open for the 2013 British Schools Championships
Entry is now open for the 2013 British Schools Championships which takes place on Saturday 9 March 2012 at iceSheffield.
The hugely popular competition, which is expected to reach capacity in record time one again this year, is a key development event for young judoka and is designed to gradually expose them to a British Judo national competition environment.
In 2012 the enthusiastic crowd witnessed 450 judoka emerge onto the British Judo in a superb event
Yorkshire’s South Holderness Technology College have dominated the event in recent years with schools and institutions across the country eyeing this year’s prize.
The entry process can now be completed online and can be submitted from schools, clubs or individuals.
Entry via the online system takes only a couple of minutes to complete and will ensure that your entry is processed correctly and the payment is processed immediately via our secure system.
When entering online you MUST provide a school/institution email address. For your entry to be accepted into the event we will require confirmation from your school/institution that you do attend their institution and confirmation of your school year. This will be completed via email.
Event Eligibility
This is a Level 3, Development event and is not open to the following:
• Any player who has been a member of any Home Countries Squad programme (including
co-opted players) in the last three years.
• Any player who has won a medal at the British Championships (Pre cadet, Cadet or Junior) in the last three years. However this event is open to players that have medalled at the British Championships for 10/11 year olds.
