Coach Education Contribution Fund Relaunched
After the success earlier in the year of The British Judo Association’s (BJA) Sport England (SE) Coach Education Contribution Fund, a further £9,000 has been released to create further funding opportunities for aspiring and existing coaches who wish to apply for assistance with their coaching journey and attain their next coaching qualification – Level 1,2 or 3. Alongside up to £100 towards Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses for First Aid, Safeguarding or Revalidation Events.
This fund aims to build resilience in our coaching workforce, with our key goal to offer more people the opportunity to live more active lifestyles through judo. This funding will enable individuals within BJA Clubs working with, or personally from, our target audiences (listed below), to progress their coaching qualification and widen the coaching support within their existing or new clubs:
- Lower socio-economic groups (LSEG)
- Culturally diverse communities
- Disabled people
- People with long-term health conditions
Please ensure you read the FAQs document prior to submitting your application.
