British Judo mourns the loss of Jenny Hussey
British Judo would like to express its thanks to Chris Doherty for submitting this eulogy.
It is with sadness I report that the world of Judo has lost a much loved and inspirational judoka in Jenny Hussey.
A former nurse Jenny was an active member of the British Masters scene for many years winning medals at European and World Masters level. Jenny was a successful competitor, a friend and an inspiration to Masters players from around the World. She will be sadly missed.
Jenny’s funeral will be held at Peterborough Crematorium on Monday 25th July 2:30pm.
The service will be a civil ceremony and Jenny left instructions for nobody to wear black and to come in comfortable clothing.
Donations to Sue Ryder instead of flowers would be very much appreciated.
