British fans can now request tickets for the Judo events at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

The British public can now request tickets to see Team GB in action at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games taking place in Brazil from 5-21 August next year.

With the Rio 2016 Olympics less than 500 days away, the British Olympic Association (BOA) is pleased to announce that the Rio 2016 Organising Committee has approved CoSport as the Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. 

CoSport will welcome Team GB’s enthusiastic fans to Rio de Janeiro through Individual Tickets and following shortly Hotel & Ticket Packages to be offered exclusively through its website www.cosport.co.uk.

In order to secure Individual Tickets in this initial Request Phase, British residents are invited to submit a non-binding request to www.cosport.co.uk by 14:00BST on 4th May 2015.  All ticket requests successfully submitted within the Request Phase will be considered irrespective of when they were submitted. CoSport recommends that purchasers take time to clearly understand the event schedule, venue locations, their budget, and other factors before submitting a request as once the Request Phase closes, no changes to ticket requests will be permitted.

By 11th May 2015, CoSport will confirm which of the requested tickets will be offered for purchase. Payment must be processed for the confirmed Individual Tickets wanted no later than 14:00BST on 15th May 2015. The next opportunity to purchase tickets will be as part of a Live Sales process on a first come, first served basis starting 10:00am BST on 19th May 2015. Team GB will be well represented at the first Olympic Games in South America with around 350 athletes. Combined with the spectacular surroundings and vibrant locals, there will be no substitute to being there in the venues cheering on Team GB.
