19 British judoka will be in action this week at the 2016 Veteran European Judo Championships in Porec, Croatia from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 June.

The team includes Olympians and those who are regulars on the circuit including 2015 Veteran World medallists Kay Andrews, Stan Cantrill, Terence Watt and Andrew Thomson.

London 2012 Olympian Sophie Cox (pictured) will one of three female British judoka competing and the four-time European Championship medallist will be looking to make a strong impression.

Competition starts from 0830 GMT each day with M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, M10, M11 on Thursday, M3, M4 on Friday and F1-F11; M1, M2 on the Saturday with Team competition on Sunday.
