Three Brits set to compete in the Riga Senior European Cup
The Riga Senior European Cup 2022 judo competition gets underway tomorrow with 3 judoka representing GB in Riga, Latvia.
Saturday
Two Great Britain judoka will be in action on the opening day.
Joshua Bell will be competing in his first competition since the Sarajevo Senior European Cup back in May this year. The -66kg judoka will face Eylon Barshashet (ISR) in his opening round contest.
Daniel Pacitti who also last competed at the Sarajevo Senior European Cup will be upgainst Leon Svalberg (SWE) in the opening round of the men’s 73kg.
Sunday
Del Imrie is the only judoka to compete on the second day of the Riga Senior European Cup. The -90kg judoka will be up against Kristofer Klen Kaljulaid (ISR) who will be looking to improve on his fifth place position from the Madrid European Open.
Action in Riga will start at 8am (BST) on Saturday and Sunday with Final Block to follow.
