Six British Judo fighters were in action on the final day of the Tbilisi Grand Slam at the New Sports Palace.

In the -78kg competition, Emma Reid defeated 7x African Champion Kaouthar Ouallal (ALG), in the opening round with some great newaza, but was unfortunately defeated by Aleksandra Babintseva (RUS) in Round 2.

Meanwhile, also in the -78kg competition, Shelley Ludford had an opening round bye, before missing out on a place in the quarter finals following a Golden Score defeat to 7th seed, Zhenzhao Ma (CHN) in Round 2.
