We are delighted to announce several special guest home workouts as part of British Judo’s #StayInWorkOut sessions running throughout lockdown!
British Judo are inviting members to join us for a series of virtual judo training sessions to help keep you motivated and in shape, ready for your return to the tatami.
We are thrilled that Bishop Stortford’s Chloe Nunn has agreed to host two “Judo Stretch” sessions in November focussed around key judo stretches and yoga-based exercise. The sessions are aimed at developing flexibility, mobility and muscle strength to improve athletic performance and prevent injury. Chloe still regularly competes on the European circuit and has several continental medals to her name!
Louise Renicks will be hosting a session bright and early on Saturday morning as she hopes to burn some energy through her junior judo training targeted aged 5-12.
Renwick runs her own club in Scotland and is looking forwards to seeing many smiley faces as she begins her sessions this Saturday! She enjoyed a successful competitive career claiming a number of medals across the globe before claiming silver in the European Veteran Championships on home soil in Glasgow in 2018.
These sessions are open to all valid British Judo members. You can sign up to the sessions free of charge below. Booking is open for the first week of workouts and each session following this will be open seven days in advance. Then keep an eye on your emails as prior to each session we will send you the link needed to join and provide details of any equipment needed – don’t worry, it will all be things you have lying around the home!
Also, stay tuned to the British Judo social media pages as we will be announcing further training sessions with special guests over the coming weeks!
