Wednesday 28th October marks the birthday of the founder of judo, Kano Jigoro Shihan, and as such this date is celebrated as World Judo Day.
Each year to celebrate World Judo Day a new theme is chosen that illustrates the educational values of judo and this year’s theme, following how we are all being affected by the global Covid-19 health crisis, is to show that we are ‘Stronger Together’.
‘Stronger together’ is a pledge to show our commitment to create a better society in which we live. This could be the respecting the measures which are necessary to avoid infections.
We are calling for all judoka, clubs and judo fans to share how you are #StrongerTogether.
What does ‘Stronger Together’ mean to you?
