On Saturday 27th August 2016 hundreds of thousands of people across the nation will take part in I AM TEAM GB by getting out and getting active for the nation’s biggest sports day.

I AM TEAM GB is a new campaign brought to you by ITV and The National Lottery, supported by the British Olympic Association and Join In, I AM TEAM GB will be the nation’s biggest ever sports day. The campaign is aimed at encouraging thousands of clubs across the country to raise their and their sport’s profile, by opening their doors and hosting a free event/session to new participants.

This campaign is a great opportunity for judo clubs to promote themselves through a significant national campaign.

Judo clubs could host a come-and-try session, an open competition, an inter-club competition or a summer BBQ to help attract new participants and volunteers to their club.

Judo clubs that sign up for the campaign will:

• Have the chance to be part of a nationwide campaign
• Be able to market their club to new members and volunteers
• Receive a free kitbag filled with goodies to promote their event/session and club*
• Have the chance to host an Olympian at their event
