The UKCC – Level 3 in Coaching Judo is a 1st4sport Award which looks at developing coaches who wish to improve their coaching skill regardless of the participant groups they coach. The programme focuses on a holistic approach that will explore the competitive, technical, tactical, physical and psychological as they apply to the lifestyle needs of the judoka.
We are looking for coaches with several years’ experience who coach on a regular basis who have an appetite for learning and a desire for self-improvement.
Currently valid BJA Level 2 and BJA Level 3 Coaches are eligible to apply to be considered for this programme provided that they fully meet the eligibility requirements. Coaches from other judo organisations are eligible to apply to be considered for this programme provided that they fully meet the eligibility requirements and hold a UKCC – Level 2 in Coaching Judo.
BJA coaches may be able to get help with funding and should contact their local British Judo Regional Development Officer or Technical Officer for advice. Places are limited so please apply early.
