Telford’s Kelly Edwards is looking forward to her return to the World Championships next week. The London 2012 Olympian and Commonwealth Games silver medallist has had some strong results this year including two fifth place finishes at Grand Prix level and she is hoping to secure vital qualification points for the Rio Olympics next year.

“It’s been long time since I competed at a World Championships so I’m happy to be back in the mix and competing at the top level.

“Just put in a really good performance and see where that gets me really. It’s really important, there’s really good Olympic qualification points up for grabs at the Worlds so really important in prep for Rio.”
