JudoScotland and Sportif Judo are to deliver the UK’s premier international Judo event for young people. The well-established Sportif International will host both an individual tournament and new six nation’s team tournament.  Sportif Judo will also host an international training camp, which will run in conjunction with the two tournaments. The JudoScotland-Sportif International will attract over 500 young athletes from across the globe.

The tournament will not only be a spectacular display of high quality Judo, but also a superb spectator experience. In particular, the 2016 event will introduce a new six nation’s team tournament. This will take place in the evening with mat side seating and event production which will create an exciting and distinctive atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the event will be the George Kerr Cup awarded to the national team or club who accumulates the most points across the event. Dr George Kerr CBE 10th Dan, the President of JudoScotland and Sportif Judo, has and continues to make an enormous contribution to the development of Judo.

The JudoScotland-Sportif International will take place at Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh on the 26^th-29^th of March 2016.
