Aspiring Paralympian Jack Hodgson took gold at today’s International Blind Sports Association (IBSA) World Games, upgrading from his bronze at the Senior World Cup – a Paralympic qualifying event yesterday.

Hodgson, from Lincolnshire, has Ushers Syndrome a rare condition leading to Deaf/Blindness and he remains focused on representing his country at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Also at the IBSA Junior World Games, Natalie Greenhough finished fifth while Chris Skelley took seventh.

The medal haul follows on from the impressive results yesterday with Sam Ingram taking gold, Jono Drane taking the other bronze.
