Congratulations to all the judoka who medalled at last weekend’s British Championships for Seniors and Juniors.

British title holders, as well as those who joined them on the podium in all categories, are automatically awarded a place on the squad for 2014.

The Co-option Process is now open for those players who did not medal or compete at the British Championships on 14 and 15 December 2013, but who wish to be considered for a place on the 2014 junior and senior GB Squads.

Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

The next opportunity for co-option will be after the 2014 English Open and the British Open (formerly the GB European Cup).

The performance team will consider the applications received and make their recommendations to the PMG for approval week commencing 6 January 2014.

An announcement of the full British Squad will be made in due course.
