Camberley Judo Club celebrate Karina Bryant’s career with testimonial and retirement party
Camberley Judo Club are holding an official Karina Bryant Testimonial event tomorrow (Saturday 17 August) at their club, where Karina trained throughout her career.
Karina announced her retirement from the sport earlier in the month, a year after winning bronze at the London 2012 Olympics.
In honour of her fantastic career and contribution to British Judo, Camberley Judo Club has decided to hold open randori classes with Karina.
This is a rare last chance to practice with Olympic bronze medallist Karina Bryant before she leaves for a well-deserved break to Australia at the end of August.
There will also be a retirement party from 6pm onwards, where you can celebrate with Karina, sharing memories of her hugely successful Judo career.
This event is an opportunity for Camberley Judo Club and everyone in British Judo to thank Karina in person for her dedication over the years, and to say goodbye and good luck. It is also open to all who wish to join in.
Sessions are as follows:
Junior (u16) 10-11:15am
Seniors (16+) 11:30- 1pm
Members- £5
Non-members- £7
For the party afterwards, tickets are £10 and include BBQ food and a disco.
