Don’t miss out on UKCC Level 2 courses in your area
The clock is ticking, so don’t miss out on the chance to register for the UKCC Level 2 coaching courses being delivered in the Midlands and North West areas next month.
These courses will take place on Saturday 21 September to Sunday 22 September, but don’t delay, the closing date is Thursday 22 August!
One course, taught by Olympian Steve Gawthorpe and Keith Merrick, both technical officers at British Judo, takes place in Wolverhampton at Our Lady and St Chad’s Catholic Sports College, with the second part following on 16/17 November.
Keith Merrick said: “Come to Wolverhampton to gain your Level 2 coaching qualification, we will be awaiting to assist you through this key qualification in your judo career. Even if you do not intend to lead a clubs coaching activity, you will find the modules on this course useful to your continued judo skills development program.”
The aim of the level 2 qualification is to equip coaches with the skills to teach level 2 as well as how to run a club and develop their own coaching sessions in a safe and professional manner, and is open to Level 1 coaches. If you miss these, or they are a tad too far away for you, you can also opt onto the same course in Chichester starting 5 October, 2013 at: Chichester Ronin, New Park Centre, New Park Road, Chichester, West Sussex and also on Saturday 2 November, 2013 and Sunday 3 November.
There’s also plenty of level one courses that still need feet on mats:
BJA Level 1 at Bideford starting 21st. September, 2013
BJA Level 1 at High Wycombe starting 28th. September, 2013
BJA Level 1 at Belfast starting 2nd. November, 2013
