Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) Resources
The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) is s a partnership between the NSPCC, Sport England, Sport Northern Ireland and Sport Wales. In Scotland there is a similar partnership between Children 1st and sportscotland.
CPSU have produced a range of resources and training guides to help keep children safe.
Safeguarding and Protecting Children Training
sportscoachUK run a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop which focuses on identifying the telltale signs of abuse and also gives attendees the tools and confidence to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively.

Text Messaging Children
Text messaging can be a useful tool in attracting more people to sessions at your judo club and coordinating the club’s other activities. However, there are a number of risks associated with texting children and young people under the age 16 that people should be aware of.

British Judo’s Tree of the Protection poster contains details of all the current Safeguarding legislation and is aimed at all sporting organisations, clubs and individuals that wish to improve their knowledge of current legislations.
