Do You Want to Volunteer at the 2018 Veteran European Championships?
British Judo are looking for volunteers for the 2018 Veteran European Championship, from 14th – 17th June 2018.
This opportunity is open to all, on a first come first serve basis. Volunteering at this event will give you invaluable matside experience and an exclusive bird’s eye view of the days action at this high level competition that will see over 1200 athletes take to the mat over the course of the four day competition.
This is a fabulous opportunity to work at a European level competition at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow.
We are currently recruiting for the following volunteers:
- Player Chaperone x 20 (Under 18’s)
- CARE System Volunteer x 20 (Under 18’s – ideally young referees)
- Ceremonies Volunteer x 2 (Adult / Young Adult)
- Supporting the Ceremonies Lead throughout the Opening, Closing and Medal Ceremonies
- Sports Presentation Runner x 3 (Adult / Young Adult)
- Ideal for production/event management students
- Event Registration Volunteer x 3 (Adult)
- 1 x Ticketing
- 1 x Flags & Anthems
- 1 x Accreditation & Event Packs
- VIP Support/Information Point Volunteer x 2 (Adult)
- Supporting dedicated event staff member and escorting VIP’s to VIP Lounge
- Event Runner x 1 (Adult / Young Adult)
- Supporting Event Director and liaising between all parties
- Ideal for production/event management students
