In response to the global cyber-attack reported on the 12th May 2017, we would like to reassure all Club Coaches and Club Welfare Officers who have recently processed their CRB/DBS check through our Umbrella body, United CRB, that we have no evidence that the organisation’s systems have been directly affected.

All systems were thoroughly checked over the weekend to ensure they are healthy and secure. United CRB are taking the situation seriously and continue to be on high alert as a result.

United CRB achieved ISO 27001 ISMS certification for more than 6 years which is an important international standard.

This demonstrates that they have the necessary Information Security Management System (ISMS) in place to observe security best practice.

They have assured us that they are looking to increase security for potential future threats as an added precaution.
