The British Judo Association will celebrate the 15th British Judo Awards on Saturday 12th November 2022.

We are delighted to announce that our 2022 Annual Awards Dinner will be taking place on Saturday 12th November at the Slate, Warwick Conference Centre.

All members of the judo community are welcome to attend the Awards Dinner and join us in celebrating the success of our members and their achievements.

You will find the event information including ticket and accommodation information and nomination details below. Nominations for the awards open today (Wednesday 10th August) and will close on Monday 3rd October.

 

Location: The Slate, Warwick Conferences, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV47SH

Start time: Drinks reception from 18:30 (Doors open)

Dinner opens at 18:45, Awards and speeches to begin from 19:00

Dress code: Smart, dress to impress – no trainers or jeans

 

Nominations

Areas and Home Nations are invited to nominate two individuals for their Area/ Home Nation. This nomination can be for a recent outstanding achievement, their judo community or club support, or years of service to their Area/ Home Nation. One of the two nominees will then be selected by the Rewards and Recognition Panel to receive an award.

The wider judo community is also invited to nominate individuals, clubs or groups for selected awards. These awards include: – The inclusion Award, Area & Home Nation Awards, the President’s Award and the Roy Inman Award.

Once the nomination period closes, every nomination will be reviewed and categorised.  Each category will then be discussed by British Judo’s Reward and Recognition Panel and the finalists will be selected.  Finalists will be invited to attend the 2022 British Judo Awards where they will be invited on stage to collect their award.
